Model providers and routing
AskAny.ai lets users choose from multiple model families. This page explains the practical privacy impact: selected context is sent to the model route you choose, and provider terms differ.
Default routing
AskAny-managed routes send selected context to the chosen AI provider through supported business/API channels where available.
No-training posture
AskAny.ai configures no-training options where supported. Provider handling can vary by provider, plan, contract, and region.
Workspace Enforcement
Admins can toggle the visibility of individual models or entire providers, ensuring users only see approved AI models in their dropdown.
Self-serve BYOK
Enterprise admins can securely add API keys and explicit model IDs in the settings, instantly routing team traffic through their own contracts and budgets.
| Provider family | Typical use | Privacy note | Enterprise control |
|---|---|---|---|
| OpenAI | General reasoning, writing, coding, vision-capable models | Business/API data handling depends on OpenAI business/API terms and customer settings. | BYOK and allow-listing can be requested. |
| Anthropic Claude | Long-context writing, reasoning, analysis | Commercial/API handling is governed by Anthropic commercial terms and retention controls. | BYOK and allow-listing can be requested. |
| Google Gemini | Multimodal reasoning, document and image tasks | Handling depends on Gemini/Google Cloud route, region, and service terms. | BYOK / Google Cloud routing can be reviewed. |
| Mistral, Cohere, Perplexity, xAI, Llama routes | Specialized models, search-enabled answers, alternatives to major labs | Retention/training rules vary. AskAny.ai documents provider-specific differences and uses no-training controls where supported. | Provider allow-lists and BYOK review available. |
| Customer-approved providers | Enterprise-specific model contracts | Your own contract and settings can control data handling. | Handled as an enterprise implementation request. |
Model-provider privacy terms can change. AskAny.ai reviews provider routes before adding or changing how customer content is processed.
